Reflect Refract

Send them Packing critiques the slow pace of corporate responsibility toward sustainability, especially in packaging practices. This piece explores the dynamic interplay of light, surface, and form through the use of textured enamel, repurposed packing strapping, and semi open box shapes. By experimenting with translucency and apertures, the work invites a tactile and visual experience, engaging the senses. The once-discarded packing strapping becomes a focal point, challenging conventional notions of value and materiality, showcasing the beauty found in reuse. Incorporating waste materials into the work marks a shift in my practice, reflecting my commitment to sustainability and circular design.
